About Me

Strong enough to be gentle.
Old enough to perceive wisdom's shadow.

Young enough to wonder.
Diverse enough to lead a fulfilling & interesting life.

Sometimes I can be sweet, charming & innocent ... a gentleman.
Other times I can be playful & mischievous.

I always try to see the good in people - because of this, sometimes I can come across as being too nice. But this 'nice guy' is always in control, as I am a born leader.

I have a gorgeous smile - I always get complimented on it. It is my smile that seems to win people over. I am loyal, kind, caring, honest, tactful, stubborn, independent and sometimes lazy.

Stuart Skinner has spent most of his life growing up in Western Australia. Most memorable has been enjoying the semi-country life while living in the eastern hills : nature right behind the house, bushwalks, long adventurous horserides amongst nature and the constant spectacular views of the Perth skyline. As connecting with animals, nature and the earth itself is what truly inspires him the most.

"Seek Wisdom"
That was the motto of my primary school that I attended when I was a child - it is a phrase that certainly has meaning in my life these days.

Alas, over the years I have lost contact with most of my old school friends - but from my friends, many a great person has developed. I tend to be humble, while I may not have a 'rock-star' life, I have certainly enjoyed a life so far experiencing things that people only dream of.
Happy memories - and as they say, "We become many different people during our lifetime".

My Philosophy

What you think you create. What you feel you attract ... What you imagine you become.

To some people, this is known as The Law Of Attraction.
That's why so many people place such an emphasis on the idea of 'positive thinking'.
Kindness and generosity is my key to a fulfilling life, even in the face of adversity.

What you give out, will have an effect later on (this life or another life).
The concept behind karma.

"Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others.
Past and present. And by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future."

This is a quote from the movie 'Cloud Atlas' - which explores the impact of actions and consequences ... I feel it is a great piece of advice to live life by, whether it's actually true or not.

Life is precious and should be celebrated. Every moment we have is a gift.

Take a moment and think briefly - count on your fingers, 5 things that you are grateful for in life. Whenever you feel alittle down, think back to these 5 things for some comfort - as these are blessings from a truely wonderful universe.

We never know what's around the corner - random events can push us in a different direction ... and the universe doesn't discriminate - unfortunately, sometimes ill fated events happen to good people.

We create reality with our thoughts.

Every thought that you have is potentially projected out into the world as your reality.

We are taught from a young age, that our thoughts are private and are entirely of our own creation. But is this really true? How do we know for certain?
Our thoughts carry more weight than many of us may consciously realise.

Is it possible for other people/souls to know our inner-most thoughts?

Our thoughts and actions can also have an effect on another person on the other side of the world. From a science perspective, it can partially be explained by turning to quantum entanglement (although I feel that the true nature goes far deeper than what science can currently explain).

Assumptions VS Intentions.
Assumptions can go haywire, as they are based on what has happened in the past. Intentions on the other hand, are strong and decisive and not based on past events, therefore less likely to be derailed by fears and doubts.

The clearer you are in your mind with your intentions and goals,
the more likely they are to manifest.

We are the masters of our own destiny.

While our own souls tend to have a general roadmap to our 'life plan', there is a certain degree of "free will" that we may exert upon this. There are many alternative routes along the road of life that we can take, besides the main highway.

Along the way we will be presented with many signals, signposts or branches.
Ultimately, it is up to us to decide which path to take, including any risk in that choice.

Although, over-ruling your 'soul plan' ... isn't the wisest of choice, as it creates confusion in our lives. For more on this subject, further reading can be found at Soul Growth : synchronicities.

We're all here for our souls to learn lessons (soul growth) ... Also to experience the joy of being alive.
The nature of this dual aspect harmonises with each other, into what we call life.

The soul, or spirit is the eternal/divine part of you - yet the soul should also be considered as a completely seperate entity as to the body (yet acting in perfect harmony with it/you). It is the soul that wants to learn, to grow, to evolve.
Everyone is here on Earth with a chosen life lesson for their soul.
The main goal of all of our experiences is learning and growth.

To do this, the soul uses a physical body. That body may be male or female, but the soul is not gender specific. Some lifetimes will be lived in a female body because it is more appropriate for the lessons to be learned or the karma to be worked with, other lives will be as a male.

It is not so much about 'learning your lesson' as it is about experiencing the energy of different virtues. It is rather like the soul saying "hmm, that sounds interesting, I would like to experience that." The following page has some of my life lessons that I've come to understand over recent years.

The soul is perfect as it is - so this is not about fixing or being judged (as to whether you win/lose salvation and your soul spending an eternity in heaven/hell as some believe) ... it is not so much about the soul being "tested" by a God.
The soul is simply looking to experience itself in a new way (some believe) - to expand it's soul consciousness - for the soul to grow and evolve. The physical plane (that is the universe we find ourselves in), could be likened more to a playground ... some may say, "the soul at play in a conscious universe".

It will present itself in many different ways, shapes, and forms to you throughout your life.

Our soul-mate is often the vehicle to teach us the most heart-rending lessons,
as well as the provider of one of the deepest and strongest loves.
